Job Purpose:
Provides responsibility and coordination of company financial planning, company business office operations and internal/external compliance and reporting.
 
Duties:

• Functions within the guidelines of ILCO’s philosophy and Mission Statement
• Serves as part of company management team
• Works with the CFO in all aspects of the job
• Maintains the integrity of the accounting records, compliance with GAAP and internal control of company assets
• Ensures compliance with Federal, State, local reporting requirements
• Provides accounting management and support to the functions of accounting, invoicing, payroll, A/R, A/P, and inventory
• Preparation of the company financial statements
• Responsible for preparation of internal and external reporting of financial results, statistics and key indicators
• Manages and coordinates company financial planning/budgeting
• Assures corporate income tax compliance to assure the accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns taking full advantage of all favorable tax codes
• Manages and coordinates work with external CPA firms as part of annual audit/review
• Leads, directs and mentors team of 7+ employees to achieve the goals of the Company Services department
• Establishes and implements departmental goals, objectives, policies and procedures

Qualifications:
   Minimum

• Exemplary standard of honesty and integrity
• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance
• 5-7 years Accounting/Finance experience with 3-5 years supervisory experience
• Excellent computer skills, proficient in Excel
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written for interactions with clients, management and staff
• Positive attitude, team player, and good interpersonal skills

 
 
 
 Preferred

• 7-10 years relevant experience, including 5 years supervisory experience
• CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
• Experience with multi-state operations, including income tax and sales tax
• Experience with mid-sized or large accounting software
