Job Purpose:
Develop and manage Human Resource functions and Safety programs in an effort to support business needs as it relates to these areas of the business.

Develop and manage Human Resource functions and Safety programs in an effort to support business needs as it relates to these areas of the business.
Duties:
- Functions within the guidelines of ILCO’s philosophy and Mission Statement.
- Oversees and manages HR and Safety personnel and related activities to support company managers and staff.
- Works with other managers to develop and promote safe work environment for all employees.
- Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel.Manages onboarding process for new hires.
- Implements and annually updates compensation program.Monitors the performance evaluation program.
- Develops, recommends and implements policies in regards to Safety and Human Resources, ensuring compliance with state and local statutes and regulations.
- Administrates employee benefits
- Establishes and maintains personnel and safety records and reports.
- Evaluates reports, decisions and results of HR and Safety departments in relation to established goals.
- Regular travel to all locations is required - offices/warehouses are located in multiple states throughout the country as well as a location in Canada.
Minimum
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience.
- Proven high level of self-motivation and organizational skills required to manage and administer activities remotely and across a large geographical area.Experience working with multi-location, multi-state operations.
- Strong leadership and communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Knowledge and experience with federal and state employment laws, safety and DOT regulations.
- Experience with workers compensation claims management.
- Ability to obtain necessary certifications as required. Required certifications will be paid for by company.
Preferred
- 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Senior Human Resources certification (SPHR or SHRM-SCP).
