Description
Job Purpose:
To support the operations of the organization by providing technical expertise in the areas of hardware, software, network, employee training, and other technology related support.
 
Duties:
 
  • Designs, installs, and maintains network hardware and software. This includes telecommunication hardware and software, personal computers, software applications, printers, servers, routers, bridges, switches, modems, etc.
  • Establishes and maintains system users, security, and user environment for network and other systems.
  • Maintains secure environment for all devices such as servers, laptops, desktops, tablets, cell phones, etc. by making sure security patches are up to date and security procedure are in place.
  • Insure that backups and disaster recovery procedure are in place and monitored on an appropriate time frame.
  • Provide technical support for users at all ILCO divisions.
  • Monitor servers and storage capacities to ensure servers to not get overloaded or crash due to technical problems.
  • Work with software and hardware vendors to resolve technical problems.
  • Participate in problem solving and software education of other divisions and departments within the company.
  • Assist division or department managers in creating reports and other presentation materials.
  • Other Information Technology duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  Minimum
 
  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology or comparable experience in the technology field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and ability to work with people in a training capacity are necessary for this job.
  • Ability to analyze and completed assigned projects and tasks.
  • Understanding of information technology environment in business.
  • Understanding of MS Office Suite and reporting software.
  • Ability to research complex issues and resolve in a professional manner.
 
 
 Preferred
 
  • 5+ years relevant experience, including network Infrastructure design and device management software systems.
  • Experience working with multi-location IT support.
