Description

Job Purpose:

To provide service and delivery functions for customers in the mining, railroad, and Industrial industries.

Duties:

  • Field Maintenance Activities

    • Field duties at customer locations as ability demonstrated and company needs warrant
      • Various locations or full-time assignment to single location possible
    • Focus on providing solutions to customer needs through knowledge and service
    • Perform equipment condition and lube system inspections
    • Provide mechanical maintenance of lube systems and components
    • Obtain signed delivery tickets for all labor performed and items sold
    • Provide daily/weekly service reports summarizing work performed
    • Identify and pursue sales opportunities with customers
  • Support pump repairs for ILCO Tyler branch office.

    • Maintain pump repair area in a clean and organized manner.
      • Always assume a customer may enter the shop and maintain accordingly.
      • Communicate any repair equipment needs to Branch Field Supervisor promptly
    • 100% test all pumps after repair.
    • Provide repair ticket for every pump. Ticket will include findings and parts used.
    • Provide training and mentoring of new employees on how pumps function and how to inspect and repair.
    • Notify Branch Field Supervisor and Branch Admin if spare pump inventory concerns arise.
  • Support Tyler branch warehouse activities.

    • Assist Branch Admin in maintaining and organizing warehouse area.
    • Assist Branch Admin with shipping/receiving when needed.
    • Assist delivery drivers with product transfers and loading of trucks when needed.
  • CDL driver product deliveries.

    • Perform product deliveries and transfers as directed by Branch Field Supervisor or his designee.
  • Build customer and supplier relations.

  • Other duties as assigned by division manager.

Qualifications:

Minimum

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required
  • Mechanical maintenance background required
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to read, write, and have basic computer skills.

  • Good customer relations skills.

  • Valid Driver’s license.

  • Ability to operate a forklift and palette jack.

  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Obtain necessary MSHA certification as required. Required certifications will be paid for by company.

    Preferred

  • Class B CDL preferred

  • Lubrication and lubrication systems background preferred

  • Heavy equipment maintenance

  • Equipment condition monitoring (vibration, alignment, thermography)

  • Working knowledge of pumping equipment and repairs.
