Description
Job Purpose:
Coordinates daily warehouse functions.  Compiles and maintains product and parts inventory by utilizing the following functions and providing continual feedback to promote safety and efficiencies in the day to day activities.  Professionally operates equipment while delivering products to customers in a cost-efficient, safe, courteous, and timely manner.

Duties:
  • Functions within the guidelines of Industrial Lubricant Company’s philosophy and Mission Statement.
  • Manages all daily warehouse functions (shipping, receiving, pulling and consolidating orders, documentation of work).
  • Assists all staff as necessary to provide an efficient operation.
  • Manages and monitors inventory levels through physical counts and min/max requirements.  Ensures inventory is adequately stocked and organized for efficient daily operations.
  • Follows and conveys written instructions on work orders and insure that proper documentation is with every order.
  • Communicates any and all back-ordered products to ILCO group.
  • Expedites transfer of materials from production areas to stock bins and verifies accuracy of inventory.
  • Receives product/materials and enter through computerized system.  Examines materials received, verifies part numbers, and checks discrepancies to included damaged and unmarked items.
  • Meets with sales department regularly for feedback on current products and new items that our customers need.
  • Develops delivery routes and schedules while working with customers, sales, and ILCO staff.
  • Answers phone calls from customers and provides customer assistance as required.
  • Manages recordkeeping for trucks, equipment, and parts/products. Schedules preventative maintenance on equipment and coordinates repairs as needed.
  • Maintains a professional, organized, safe and clean warehouse, inside and out.  Orders supplies as required.
  • Adapts to schedule changes and is willing and able to cover for others in their absence.

Qualifications:

   Minimum:
  • High School Diploma
  • Commercial A driver’s license (with HAZMAT certification)
  • Capable of Lifting 70 lbs.
  • Forklift operation
  • Operation of electric and hydraulic pumps for oil distribution
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills as well as positive attitude for customer and employee interactions.
  • Ability to make and adhere to time schedules.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Current training to handle bulk oil deliveries
   Preferred:
  • College Degree
