Job Purpose: To provide professional and accountable service to our Railroad customers regarding lubrication, lubrication equipment and related products and services in a manner that adheres to our commitment to safety, honesty and integrity. Duties: · Functions in accordance with the company philosophy and Mission Statement outlined in Employee Handbook · Maintains, fills, inspects, and repairs on-track lubricators · Enters relevant service information into computer system on a timely basis · Builds relationships with customers through friendly attitude. Provides customer service assistance to railroad personnel as needed. · Assists in the planning of warehouse and truck inventory · Accountable for time management, tracking, and submission of proper paperwork for work performed and associated billing · Maintains interior cleanliness of truck along with delivery system equipment to maintain a highly reliable, professional-looking · Team-oriented attitude in assisting other employees as necessary to provide an efficient work environment · Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Team Lead or Division Manager · Complies with all ILCO and railroad safety rules and use of required PPE · May be cross-trained to work in other industries we serve · Travel and overnight stay required for this position
Qualifications: Minimum · High School Diploma or equivalent · 0-2 years of experience working in a service, repair, or maintenance position · Must be physically able to lift up to 70 lbs. · Possess a valid driver’s license · Excellent verbal communication skills for customer interactions · Proficient computer skills · Ability to make and adhere to time schedules · Strong mechanical and organizational skills · Must successfully complete Pre-Employment screenings (Background, functionality, driving record, drug, etc.) Preferred · Holder of a Commercial Driver’s License · Technical or College degree · Previous railroad experience · Strong Computer Skills · Current holder of RR certifications (NARC, ERail, Rules, etc.)
