Description
Job Purpose:

To provide professional and accountable service to our Railroad customers regarding lubrication, lubrication equipment and related products and services in a manner that adheres to our commitment to safety, honesty and integrity.   

Job Duties:
  • Function in accordance with the company philosophy and Mission Statement outlined in Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain, fill, inspect, and repair on-track lubricators.
  • Enter relevant service information into RR database system on a timely basis.
  • Build relationships with customers through friendly attitude. Provide customer service assistance to railroad personnel as needed.
  • Assist in the planning of warehouse and truck inventory.
  • Accountable for time management, tracking, and submission of proper paperwork for work performed and associated billing paperwork.
  • Maintain interior cleanliness of truck along with delivery system equipment to maintain a highly reliable, professional-looking delivery vehicle.  Operate and maintain service vehicles, tools, and other company equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Team oriented attitude in assisting other employees as necessary to provide an efficient work environment.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by regional coordinator.
  • Comply with all ILCO and railroad safety rules and use of required PPE.
  • Travel and overnight stay required for this position.
Qualification

    Minimum
  • High School Diploma (Technical or College degrees a plus).
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 100lbs.
  • Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.
  • Additional certifications (NARC, ERail, Rules, etc.) will be required. 
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for customer interactions.
  • Proficient in the use of a computer.
  • Ability to make and adhere to time schedules.
  • Strong mechanical and organizational skills.
  • Must successfully completed Pre-Employment Evaluation (functionality test, drug screening, background check, etc.)
    Preferred    ​
  • Holder of a Commercial Driver’s License.
  • Previous railroad experience a plus.
  • Strong Computer Skills a plus.
  • Current holders of (NARC, ERail, Rules, etc.) certifications a plus.in ...
