Job Purpose:

To professionally operate equipment and manage paperwork while delivering products to customers in a cost efficient, safe, courteous, and timely manner.

Duties:

• Functions within the guidelines of ILCO’s philosophy and Mission Statement

• Possess and maintain valid Class A CDL and maintain a driving record that meets ILCO/State/Federal standards

• Delivers products and services to our growing customer base according to routes and system along with building rapport between customers and ILCO.  Assists with answering customers’ questions and problem-solving.

• Responsible for handling all paperwork and files associated with operation of vehicles and delivery of products including pre- and post-trip DOT inspections, load sheets, inventory, sales orders

• Maintains clean vehicles and/or clean working area

• Maintains a professional appearance when delivering to customers

• Complies with all safety and environmental regulations

• Maintains good relations with co-workers

• Assists with warehouse functions including staging of orders, repackaging products, loading and unloading trucks, operating a forklift, inventory control, cycle counts

• Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager

• Overnight travel expected 2-3 nights per week

Qualifications:

   Minimum:

• High School Diploma

• Excellent verbal communication skills for customer interactions

• Good computer skills

• Ability to make and adhere to time schedules

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

• Holder of Class A Commercial Driver’s License

Preferred:

• College Degree
